1. Turn Off Water heater switch

2. Remove valve from Left-hand ECO terminal-A

3. Note the position of the thermal cut-off-B

4. Remove brown incoming power wire-C from thermal cut-of

5. Remove and discard thermal cut-off-B from thermostat-F

6. Remove the air shutter D and slide the air shutter right

7. Run a flexible wire brush through the burner tube-D & E Until it is visible at the end of the burner tube

8. When you are sure the burner tube is completely clean,return the air shutter to its original position

INSTALLATION STEPS: 1.Turn switch to OFF position. 2.Discount brown and red wires from thermostat and ECO terminal connections on front of water heater. 3.Peel off black foam cover. 4.Remove washer, spring and thermostat from behind metal tabs on water heater combustion pan. 5.Paying close attention to cleaning the matting surfaces
